I decided to make a bookshelf to go along the top my wall along the ceiling to hold my books and Anime since I've pretty much run out of room as of late lol and of course its a never ending story of collecting. It's about 7ft long... decided to make the back board a little taller than the bottom so that what I put on there would show more. Bought a burn tool recently to drawn with so figured I'd try it out on this and went with the classic Lord of the rings inscription on the ring itself.
"One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them!"
...for those who don't know its written in the Black Speech of Mordor which is a language written by J. R. R. Tolkien and used by Sauron and the Elvish. Anyhow Its a pretty basic design that I went with, just a simple bottom and back board with a lip on either end... figured burning the inscription and putting some chains on the side (which are both for looks and applies the function of helping hold some weight if need be) would give it a nice fantasy/ Medieval feel. This is a picture of it after staining it, just have to varnish it and throw it up on the wall now, but figured it turned out nice enough that I'd post a picture of it on here with the rest of my works. ...by the way a word for the wise Elvish isn't an easy language to write lol, but looks too epic not to try.
